Khaled Al Shamlan Al Marri is the Chief Executive Officer of Real Assets at Mubadala. Real Assets invests in international real estate and infrastructure assets that form the foundation of global economic resilience and growth.
Khaled is also a member of the Investment Committee at Mubadala, which is dedicated to shaping investment policies that responsibly deploy capital in advanced industries globally, find solutions to the world’s biggest challenges, and create positive outcomes for current and future generations.
Previously Khaled was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Disruptive Investments at Mubadala, managing a portfolio spanning six continents with interests in multiple sectors and asset classes. In this role, he oversaw multibillion-dollar investment programs alongside a number of global sovereign wealth funds with the ultimate goal of expanding into new jurisdictions and creating unique commercial partnerships.
Khaled began his career with Mubadala in 2005 and has held a number of senior roles within the organization and its portfolio companies, both in Abu Dhabi and Singapore.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA.
Board Positions: Khaled is a board member of Abu Dhabi Investment Council, a sovereign wealth fund established in 2007, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company.
