Samer Halawa

Chief Legal Officer

Samer is Mubadala’s Chief Legal Officer, responsible for the company’s legal, governance, tax and regulatory affairs worldwide. He is Secretary to the MIC Board.

Prior to joining Mubadala, he headed the Corporate and Commercial Law practice of Habib Al Mulla & Co in Dubai, practicing a wide variety of international and local corporate and commercial law, specializing in cross-border M&A.

He sits on the board of Mubadala Capital and Abu Dhabi Investment Council.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Jordan University and a member of the Jordanian Bar Association.
